INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT

ILS Planning and Analysis (Project Management) - in collaboration with our partners and affiliates we provide ILS support during project conceptual phase (basic operation and ILS support concept), preliminary system design phase (ILS Plan, LSA Plan), detailed design and development phase (RAM&S, update of preliminary ILS & LSA Plans), production phase (Training Plan, Technical Publications, Spare Parts management, etc.), operational user phase (Maintenance, Training, Through Life Support) and ILS/ISS proposal management.
ILS Engineering - we can help you deliver Maintenance Concepts, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety (RAM&S) Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), populate and maintain Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR), create Maintenance Plan (MP), Provisioning Parts Breakdown (PPB), Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and other project deliverables.
TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS

Technical Publications - we have an established track record of authoring technical publications in XML/SGML and MS Word formats, according to required standards for both military and commercial sectors. Examples of these types of manuals include: Operator Manuals, 1st and 2nd Line Maintenance Manuals and Illustrated Parts Lists. We deliver documents in PDF format with integral hyperlinks within the document and/or printed format, as required.
Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) or Publications (IETP) - we can deliver manuals in a format which can be accessed electronically via a computer screen interface and navigation tools, much like a web page. Higher levels of IETM functionality incorporate advanced features such as interactive schematics, animations, video clips, exploded views and procedure demonstrations.
S1000D Documentation and Conversions - using the latest aerospace standard for publications, we are capable of developing and centralizing all elements of technical documentation for a project in a format which can be accessed electronically via a computer screen interface.
QA Services - we provide independent technical review and editing services to other publications providers. These services could include services such as side by side comparisons, syntax and technical confirmations.
PERSONNEL TRAINING

Training Needs Analysis - the output of our analysis process provides specifications for training needs between the current and desired performance of the systems operator/maintenance personnel. This process will result in the development of Task Lists, Training Standards, Performance Objectives and Enabling Objectives for training development.
Training Systems Integration - our training department engages with you from the requirements definition and an analysis of alternatives through to design and delivery of the training solution.
Train the Trainer Courses - sometimes referred to as TTT, is an education model whereby individuals identified to teach, mentor or train others attend training themselves.
Initial Cadre Training / New Equipment Training - we design this training to provide the Initial passage of technical information to an end user.
DESIGN/DRAFTING SERVICES
Technical Data Packages (TDP) - we can prepare and compile technical drawings according to required specifications, including data lists, Technical Data Action Notices (TDAN), Meta Data files and Supplementary Provisioning Technical Documentation (SPTD), as required.
Model-based Mechanical Designs - we will transform your ideas into an innovative solution that keeps to the design intent while optimizing performance, efficiency, material/manufacturing costs and ergonomics. Using 3D models, we can quickly validate the designs through interference checking, motion simulation and finite element analysis (FEA). The models will be fully defined so as to be useful for integration of data into lifecycle activities, technical data packages (TDP), training and interactive publications (IETM).
Design Analysis - we have staff qualified to assess potential risks and failures (FMEA), their effects and how to mitigate them.
Design Evaluation - we can take your designs and evaluate them for completeness and accuracy, for manufacturability and for accomplishing the intended purpose.
ABOUT

Total OutSource Canada Inc. (TOCI) established its Ottawa office in August 2010.
We hold a current Controlled Goods registration, and serve as a candidate to provide ITB credits for aerospace and defence companies.
We remove the burden of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and technical publications deliverables from your project, working closely with you as an integral part of the program team in order to deliver on-time and on-spec. We have the proven ability to work with clients in different countries and time zones, maintaining open communication and responsiveness.
We accept work in several modes including:
Work Packages - through a teaming arrangement on an existing larger program, we accept a defined work requirement or statement of work (SOW) with scheduled deliverables, milestones and deadlines.
Projects - contributing as a knowledgeable team member, we are included in the development of the original bid response, providing input on topics such as technical, financial, ITB and certifications as required. Upon award we accept and deliver on our subcontract from the prime contractor as negotiated and agreed.
Conversions - using existing documentation in the original legacy formats, we convert existing technical documentation to the latest S1000D documentation standard.
Legacy Updates - we update all required aspects of your existing documentation according to the new requirements while preserving the original formats and document structure.
Overflow Work - we accept sporadic and ad-hoc work assignments when you anticipate or experience workload surges. Our team will configure itself to apply the required personnel and critical skills to the project in order to achieve success.
